UPDATED Eastern Conference Rankings – 10/13/2016

The rankings issued yesterday had some errors.

  1. I mistakenly had Hanover from District III in the Eastern Football Conference instead of Hanover Area from District II.  Hanover Area is now leading for a District II playoff berth instead of Wilkes Barre Meyers.
  2. Emmaus’ point total was incorrect.
  3. Jersey Shore who is not a member of the Eastern Football Conference is leading for one of the four District IV playoff berths thus Shamokin should not have been highlighted.
  4. Lastly, the new PDF does NOT have the point totals cut off like yesterday’s did.

Apologize for any inconvenience these errors may have caused.

Eastern Football Conference Rankings & Playoff Brackets as of November 7th

Please find the updated rankings as of Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Eastern Conference Ranking 11-7-15

All of the playoffs brackets are set with the exception of Division I.  Several teams who have qualified have declined the invitation to participate.  We are awaiting a response from another school with whom we offered an invitation.  We hope to have that answer Sunday morning and we will reissue the brackets.

Please note that the Eastern Football Conference will meet with all of the playoff teams on Monday, November 9th at 11:00 AM at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Wilkes Barre.  At that meeting the dates and times will be set for the contests.

It is extremely important for all playoff schools to have someone in attendance to pick up your contest packets and other pertinent information regarding the tournament.

Here are your match-ups:

Division IV will feature North #1 Pleasant Valley hosting South #2 Reading and South #1 Emmaus hosting North #2 Williamsport.

Division III will feature #1 Jim Thorpe hosting #4 Southern Lehigh (wild card) and #2 Valley View hosting #3 Allentown Central Catholic.

Division II will feature #1 Wilkes Barre Meyers hosting #4 Palisades and #2 Mount Carmel hosting #3 Riverside.

Division I will feature #1 Schuylkill Haven hosting #4 Team To Be Determined and #2 Bloomsburg hosting #3 Halifax.

Best of luck to all teams!

We will issue another email and update the website once the Division I bracket has been finalized and again when the game dates and times have been set after Monday’s meeting.
