The 2016 Eastern Football Conference South Division Championship game will feature Hamburg vs. Conrad Weiser.  The game will be played Friday, November 11, 2016 at 7:00 PM at Conrad Weiser.

Details regarding the 2016 Eastern Football Conference Championship Games will be posted after 11:30 AM on Monday, October 31, 2016 at the conclusion of the Annual Eastern Football Conference Playoff Team Meeting.

On Monday, November 9, 2015, the Eastern Football Conference Steering Committee will meet at 10:30 AM at the Mohegan Sun Casino (1280 Highway 315, Wilkes Barre, PA 18702).  The Conference will then hold a meeting for the Athletic Directors of all playoff qualifying schools at 11:00 AM followed by lunch provided by the E.F.C.  Please notify Bob Gimble at 570-323-1713 if your are able to attend.

Some errors were found in the rankings sent out last night.

I mistakenly had Cowanesque Valley listed as a AA school. Thank you Mr. Zack for clarifying that. As a result, point totals for Wellsboro, Muncy, Sayre, South Williamsport, and Athens were altered.

Additionally, I incorrectly entered Central Columbia as an opponent for Shikellamy instead of Central Mountain which as a result increased their point total.

Pleasant Valley is actually ranked ahead of Scranton therefore Pleasant Valley should be highlighted as leading for an EFC berth and Scranton should not have been highlighted.

Some more notes……..according to Mr. Ognosky, the District II Football Chairman, Scranton and West Scranton are slated to make up their game that was postponed during their school district strike. The teams are slated to play on Tuesday, November 3.
